Ava H. Mohr, 79, of 1424A Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at
Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. William Harvey will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Drews
Bleser Post.
Mr. Mohr was born May 23, 1896, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Hattie
Othersall Mohr. He married Lillian Barneson in 1922. He was a veteran of World
War I and was employed as a sales manager for Asphalt Products and various
major oil companies. He was a member of American Legion Drews Blesser Post No.
88 of Manitowoc and Masonic Lodge, Algoma Chapter, and James Episcopal Church,
Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, five sons, Robert, of Houston, Tex., John, of Green
Bay, Wilber, of Mount Prospect, Ill., PatiPatrick (sic) of Fond du Lac and
Thomas, of Manitowoc, 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends
may call at Jens Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday until the time
of service. Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospital.
