MRS. ROSINSKY DIES HERE, 80
Widow of William Rosinsky To Be Buried Saturday
Mrs. Marie Rosinsky, 80, widow of the late William Rosinsky, died this morning
at the home, 950 North Eighth street. She has been in failing health for the
past three months.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 p.m.
from the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church, with interment at Evergreen
cemetery.
Born Marie Schmidt in the town of Newton in 1853, she spent her early life on
a farm there. In 1878 she was married there to William Rosinsky and they moved
to this city to make their home. For 40 years Mr. Rosinsky, who died six years
ago, was a mechanic at the Smalley company plant here.
Two daughters, Mrs. Hugo Jonas, city, and Mrs. Samuel Whitman, New York City,
three sons, Fred and Walter, city and William of Two Rivers, two brothers, John
Schmidt city and Henry Schmidt, Hill City, South Dakota, 29 grandchildren and
four great grandchildren survive.
The deceased was a member of the Ladies’ Aid society of the Immanuel church.
The remains will be removed Friday morning to the Rosinsky family home on North
Eighth street from the Pfeffer funeral home.
