Mrs. Caroline Schaefer, aged 59, a well known and esteemed resident of this city, died at the family home, 354 Blackman street, yesterday afternoon, after a several weeks illness of complications. She is survived by two sons, Carl and John Plantarich, a sister, Mrs. Martin Wagner, all of Wilkes-Barre; two brothers, Philip Briel, of Waterville, N. Y., and John Briel, of this city, and one grand-daughter, Jean Plantarich. The funeral will be held from the home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made at the Shawnee cemetery, Plymouth.

The funeral of Mrs. Caroline Schaefer was held yesterday afternoon from the family home 354 Blackman street. Services were conducted at the residence by Rev. L. D. Ulrich, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, and were largely attended. There was a profusion of floral tributes. Interment was in the family plot in Shawnee Cemetery at Plymouth.
