Mrs. Anne Nelson Passes
Big Sandy, Mont.--Funeral services for Mrs. Anne Nelson, age 72, were held at the Lutheran church Saturday. She was a sister of the late Mrs. E. G. Hanson and came here to help take care of the Hanson family after her sister's death.
She was born April 9, 1877, at Decorah, Iowa, and was married to Rev. O. N. Nelson, who died in 1933. She had a lingering illness and had been a patient in a Havre hospital for several months.
She was a kind and patient woman and a faithful Christian. Her niece, Mrs. Ruth Joy and her husband came from Whitefish, and Mrs. Anne Nelson's nephews, Floyd (Swede) Hanson, came from Havre, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hanson from Dutton, and Vernon flew here from Seattle, for his aunt's funeral.
The body was sent from here to Pennock, Minnesota, for services and burial there beside the grave of her husband.
Three sisters and three brothers survive, besides nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
