He was born June 3, 1928 in Wetumpka Community to Robert Lee and Minnie Todd Parramore.
He was a lifetime member of Antioch Baptist Church, a deacon for many, many years and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a retired tobacco and produce farmer and cattleman and was also retired from Higdon Casket Company.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Wetumpka with services at 3:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons Danny and Tony; his daughter, Gay Williams; and a sister Helen P. Betts.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Betty Jean Whiddon Parramore; brothers, Robert, Farris, Paul, Norman and Walter; sisters, Pearl Parramore, Eula Dean, Lois McPherson and Inez Morris.
