Born Nov. 4, 1899, in Alliance, she was the daughter of the late George and Ann Seifert. She was a member of the Alliance Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Charles L. Ickes: two sons, LaMont and Henry of Salem; one daughter, Mrs. Everett Becker of Alliance; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Wisden of California and Mrs. LaRue Donze of Canton; three brothers, Ruben Seifert her twin, of California, Homer of Alliance and Richard of Chicago, and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Walton - Schrader Funeral Home with Rev. Walter H. Harrell officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
