Mrs. Edward Schad Dies At Manitowoc Monday
Funeral services will be held this morning, Thursday, at St. Gregory's Catholic church, St. Nazianz, for Mrs. Edward Schad, 71. Mrs. Schad died Monday at Holy Family hospital.
The former Minnie Anhalt was born at Millhome June 21, 1885, daughter of the late John and Barbara Knier Anhalt. She was married May 4, 1909, and the couple farmed on R. 1, Valders. Five years ago the couple moved to St. Nazianz.
Mrs. Schad was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, the Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include the husband; a son, Robert of Mishicot; a daughter, Mrs. Alex Bonde, R. 2, Kiel; a brother, Joseph Anhalt, St. Nazianz; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Altenberger of Sheboygan, Mrs. Margaret Mahloch of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Alex Gerhard, R. 1, Kiel, and eight grandchildren.
