Schwoerer, Ulrich Carl (Feb. 14, 1884-Aug. 20, 1940 –husband of Clara Bogenschuetz [married Feb. 7, 1911 at St. Wendel Catholic Church in Cleveland, Town of Centerville] –son of Gregor Schwoerer and Katharine Fessler –born Town of Eaton –farmer in Town Liberty –on Nov. 30, 1926 purchased the 120 acre Korstad farm centered at 5818 Tompkins Road in Section 18, Town of Liberty –on March 14, 1935 purchased the lot with farmstead at 17324 Carstens Lake Road in Section 18, Town of Liberty from the widower Joseph Rauch –owned both these farms until his death in 1940 –on Jan. 20, 1947 his widow Clara sold the farm at 17324 Carstens Lake Road to their son Ervin Schwoerer and his wife Mary Durben –on June 6, 1962 Ulrich’s widow Clara sold the farm at 5818 Tompkins Road to their son Edward Schwoerer –died from “cerebral hemorrhage –arteriosclerosis”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 2, Row 16, Lot 17 –stone] [marriage record Manitowoc 10-150] [death record Manitowoc 33-557]

ULRICH SCHWOERER, aged 56, town of Liberty farmer died at 6:30 o'clock last Wednesday morning at his farm home a mile and a half north of St. Nazianz, following an illness of three years duration. Mr. Schwoerer suffered a stroke twelve days ago.

The deceased was born February 14, 1884 in the town of Eaton. On February 7, 1911 he was married to Clara Bogenschuetz of Cleveland. The couple lived for three years in Sheboygan county; spent two and a half years in St. Nazianz, and for the past 14 years have lived on the farm on which Mr. Schwoerer died.

Survivors besides his widow include six sons, namely: Albert and Bernard of the town of Eaton and Frank, Ervin, Edward and Arnold at home; three daughters, Margaret and Lorretta at home, and Mrs. Stephen Klick of Perkinstown; five brothers, Peter of the town of Liberty, George of St.
Nazianz, John of Elkhart Lake, Joseph of Sheboygan, and Otto of Cross Plains, and one grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted from the St. Gregory's Catholic church at St. Nazianz on Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock, with burial being made in the village cemetery.
