Mrs. Amy Nelson services held Tuesday. Services for Mrs. Amy M. Nelson, 81, the wife of Frank Nelson, were held Tuesday afternoon at Nale's Funeral Home. Mrs. Nelson died early Sunday, June 15, 1980 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, where she had been a patient just a few hours. She had been a resident of Meadowood Nursing Home at Grayville for the past five years. Surviving are her husband, Frank Nelson of Albion; a step-son Wallace Nelson of Arlington, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Ivan (Marjorie) Chalcraft of Albion, mrs. Beulah Kincheloe of Mt. Grove, Missouri and Mrs. Carrie Edwards of Los Animos, California; two brothers, Walter Chappell of Albion and Rolla Chappell of Grayville; one step grandchild; and two step great grandchildren. Mrs. Nelson was a member of the First Baptist Church. Born March 4, 1899 in Edwards County, her parents were Perry and Sarah Elliott Chappell. She was married to Jesse Ewing, who died in December, 1946. She was married in 1950 to Frank Nelson. Rev. Everett Lemay officiated at the services, with burial in Graceland Cemetery.
