Theodore Bonde, 94, of Route 1,, Kiel, died Monday evening, Jan. 28, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Christianson Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, and 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill.
The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bonde was born Dec. 8, 1885, in Manitowoc County, son of the late John and Margaret Lummerding Bonde. He attended St. Wendel School. He farmed in the Town of Meeme most of his life. He married Genevieve Baugniet Feb. 12, 1912, at Mishicot. Mr. Bonde was former supervisor and treasurer of the Town of Meeme.
Survivors include seven sons and six daughters-in-law, Bernard of Route 1, Valders, Theodore, Jr. and Virginette of Manitowoc, Odilo and Paulene of Zephyr Cove, Nev., Alex and Rita of Route 2, Kiel, Frederick and Katherine of Route 1, Valders, Donald and Margaret of Newton, and Roman and Elizabeth of Kiel; five daughters, Miss Margaret Bonde of Kiel, Mrs. Loretta Koenig of Route 1, Valders, Mrs. Frances Hutchison of Manitowoc, Mrs. Alfred (Irene) Stein of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Robert (Marion) Lenz of Newton; 57 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son,two daughters, three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Christianson Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday where a parish rosary will be held at 8 p.m.
