Elroy E. Mueller, age 63, of N919 Hwy 57, Kiel, died Sunday evening, February 11, 2001, peacefully with his family at his side.
Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, with the Rev. Gregory Coulthard and Deacon
James Steffen officiating. Private Burial Services will take place on Thursday morning at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.

He was born August 14, 1937, in the town of Schleswig, son of the late Frank and Marcella Gries Mueller. He attended Holy Trinity Catholic Grade School and was a
1955 graduate of Kiel High School. On November 12, 1960, he married Mary Ausen at St. Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland. Elroy farmed in the Town of Schleswig and
also was employed as a supervisor at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein for over 40 years, retiring on May 1, 1999. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, a member of the parish council, a communion server, a member of School Hill Men's Club, a church greeter and he also taught a CCD class. He also was a past member of the Manitowoc County Pork Producers and a past member of the Kiel City Band. He was an avid sports fan and loved scenic drives. Elroy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be truly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary, Kiel; eight children, Linda Mueller, Menasha, Cynthia (Jon) Roeck, Cleveland, Thomas (Marie) Mueller, Kiel, Judy (Michael) Horst, Millhome, Jacqueline (Eric) Platz, Cleveland, Timothy (Judy) Mueller, School Hill, Karen Mueller, School Hill and Kim (Brian) Sheets, Plymouth. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren, Brianna Roeck, Anna Berenz Mueller, McKenna and Sarah Mueller, Mathew and Nicholas Horst, Shawn and Samatha Platz, Kevin and Steven Voland, Laura Mueller; one brother, Leon (Grace) Mueller, rural Kiel; two sisters, Deloris Benzschowel, Pickerel, Wis., Valeria "Mutzie" Neils, Kiel; one sister-in-law,
Margaret Mueller, Cleveland; and one brother-in-law, Lloyd Vogel, Cleveland; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by
one brother, Marvin; two brothers-in-law, Cliff Benzschowel and Warren Neils; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Vogel

Friends call at the church on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. when brief family rites will be held.
A memoiral has been established in Elroy's name.
The family would like to thank Nancy and Dr. Marshall Matthews and staff for all their care.
