Peter P. Stein, 61, of School Hill, died Thursday at the University Hospital in Madison, WI following a short illness.
He was born December 8, 1908, in the town of Meeme, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stein. He married Marie Meyer, October 16, 1929, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in St. Nazianz.
They operated a farm on Route 1, Valders until March 1963 when they moved to School Hill. He had been working for Scotty Smith Construction Company of Sheboygan. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill
and of its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife; four daughters;Mrs. Roland (LaVerne) Meyer and Mrs. Ray (Virginia) Schulz, both of Sheboygan; Mrs. Orland (Evelyn) Ramaker, R. 1, Valders, and Mrs. Phil (Yvonne) Matz, Menominee, Mich.; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Peter Felton and Mrs. Peter Miller, both of Sheboygan, Mrs. John Meyer
of St Nazianz and Mrs. Elmer Schill and Mrs. Edward Junk, both of Manitowoc; and four brothers, William of Chilton, Arthur of Route 1, Newton; Alfred of Sheboygan and Sylvester of Manitowoc. One sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel and at the Holy Trinity Church in School Hill, with the Rev. Reginald Schrimpf, pastor the celebrant of the funeral Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery. (edited for living people)
