OBITUARY - Wednesday, June 17, 1970, Thomas F. Johannes, 84, Wautoma, died June 17 at Wautoma Community hospital after a short illness of two weeks.Mr. Johannes was born Feb. 5, 1886 in the town of Deerfield, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Johannes. Dec. 11, 1918 he married Alvina Bliske at Wautoma. Mr. Johannes farmed and lived in the Wautoma area all his life.Funeral services were held June 20, at St. Joseph Catholic church with Rev. George Weix officiating. Burial was in the Calvary cemetery.Survivors are his wife, Alvina; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Furst, Peshtigo, Mrs. Edward Christensen, Wautoma; five sons, Franky, Milwaukee; Sylvester, Donald, Harley and Melvin, Wautoma; and nine grandchildren
