Amanda A. Schuler, 76, of Valders, passed away Monday afternoon, March 12, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Brief family services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Msgr. Alfred Schneider and Rev. John Conrad will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She was born July 19, 1913, at Chilton, daughter o the late William and Margaret Seipel Schneider and attended St. Mary School at Chilton. She married Anton Schuler, February 12, 1934, at Chilton. Mrs. Schuler was a member of Valders Senior Citizens, St. Mary Altar Society and an active member of numerous card clubs.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Karen of Valders; a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Edmund Schmitt of Cleveland, Wisconsin; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Msgr. Alfred Schneider of Manitowoc, William and Evelyn Schneider of Chilton, Henry and Odie Schneider of Hilbert; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jerome and Eleanore Woelfel of rural Chilton, Eugene and Ann Becker of Kansas City, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, January 21, 1986, an infant son, a brother and 3 sisters.
Friends may cdall at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A parish prayer service will be 8 p.m. Thursday.
