Nolan James Faribault Daily News 10/Apr/1963 Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Nolan have returned to their home in Cannon City Township following a plane trip to Alhambra, Calif. where they attended the funeral of Mr. Nolan's brother, James Nolan, 80, who passed away at Alhambra on Friday, April 5 after a 30 day illness. Catholic funeral rites were held in Alhambra and burial was made in that city. James Nolan, a highly respected railroad boilermaker with 40 years of service, retired about 10 years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Edith and Mary, both of Alhambra; four brothers, Hugh of Faribault; Ray, Janesville; Frank, Minot, N.D. and Leonard, Minneapolis, and three sisters, Mrs. James Cashman (Elizabeth) Mrs. Fred Brick (Catherine) and Mrs. Frank O'Brien (Rosella) all of Owatonna. Mrs. O'Brien accompanied the Nolans to Alhambra. Mrs. James Nolan preceded her husband in death three years ago. He also was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Originally there were 13 children in the Nolan family.
