WaKeeney -- Frank Richmeier, 79, died Tuesday at Trego County Memorial Hospital. A resident here for the past 16 years, Richmeier had previously farmed in the St. Peter community.
Survivors include his wife, Catharine, of the home; four sons, Joseph, Westminster, Colo., Benedict, Thornton, Colo., Gerald, Grand Junction, Colo., and Ronald, Aurora, Colo.; six daughters, Mrs. Severin (Julia) Scheck, Westminster, Colo., Mrs. Wendelin (Helen) Knoll, Denver, Mrs. George (Lidwina) Denning, Norton, Mrs. George (Barbara) Malsam, WaKeeney, Mrs. George (Amilla) Ashworth, Kansas City, Kans., and Mrs. Marvin (Frances) Nimz, WaKeeney; four brothers, John, Moreland, Peter, Garden City, Joseph, St. Peter, and Isadore, Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Mike (Barbara) Billinger, St. Peter, and Mrs. Louis (Clara) Storm, Denver; 37 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass is schedule for 10 a.m., Friday at Christ the King Church in WaKeeney with Fr. Kilian Dreiling C.PP.S. as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in St. Peter. Friends may call at Hendrick’s Funeral Home in WaKeeney after 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. There will be a parish rosary service at 8 p.m. in Hendrick’s Funeral Chapel.
