Mrs. Whitt, 94, Johnson Native, Taken By Death
Mrs. Flora Williams Whitt, 94, of Rt. 3 Ashland, died at 1:30 a.m. today in Silver Lake, Ind.
Born Oct 14, 1875, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Brown Williams. Her husband, William Matthew Whitt, preceded her in death in September.
Survivors include four sons, Burl Fraley of Dayton, Tom Fraley of Monument, N.M., and Armon Fraley and Edward Whitt, both of Rt. 3, Ashland; one step-son, Willie Whitt of Rt. 3, Ashland; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Brown of Silver Lake, Ind.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Elsie Conley of Rt. 3, Ashland and Mrs. Flossie Conley of Flatwoods; one brother, Dee Williams of Roanoke, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Lou Pelphrey of Paintsville; 47 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren and 39 great-great-grandchildren.
The body will be returned to the Carman Funeral Home in Russell. Arrangements are incomplete.
