MRS. H. MAJOR
DIES MONDAY

ELWOOD -- Mrs. Hazel Maj-
or, 76, died in the Dickey Nurs-
ing Home at 7:25 a.m. Monday.
She had been ill for thirteen
years.
Born March 16, 1888 in Tip-
ton County, she was the daugh-
ter of Eli and Sarepta Warner.
She married Clyde Major in
1905 and he died july 25 1948.
She was a member of the East
main St. Christian Church and
of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Ralph
Major, Nappanee; a sister,
Mrs. Harry Peters, Elwood; one
brother, Harold Warner, El-
wood, and one granddaughter.
The body is at the Copher
and Fesler Funeral Home where
friends may call after 1 p.m.
today. Funeral rites will be con-
ducted at the mortuary at 3:30
p.m. Wednesday by the Rev.
J.E. McCoy of the East Main
St. Christian Church. Interment
will be in Elwood City Ceme-
tery.
