Hazel Green, Grant Co., WIs. - Special: Funeral services for Oscar Birkett, Hazel Green policeman, who died suddenly Sunday noon, will be held from the home of his son, John Birkett, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock to the Methodist Church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Penn, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Hazel Green Cemetery.
The Pierce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three sons, John, of Hazel Green, Gordon of Sauk City, Wis., and Pvt. Aldrow, serving somewhere in England, and two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Beck, of Madison, Dane Co., WIs., and Mrs. Earl Hocking at home. He was preceded in death by his wife in March, 1939, and one daughter, in infancy.
