Visitation for Irene (Bow) Lowe, 99, will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pines Cemetery Mausoleum. Burial will follow.
Mrs. Lowe, who was born in Burkesville, Ky., died Friday.
She moved to Texas at the age of nine and in 1912 moved to a farming area in Caldwell, Idaho.
Mrs. Lowe attended the University of Idaho, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in education.
She taught school in Bellevue, Idaho, and then married Ben Lowe. They moved to Harrison, Idaho, Otis Orchards, St. Maries, Mullan, Weiser and Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and in 1965 settled in Spokane.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother, John Bow; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
