The Denmark (WI) Press obituary of August 4 noted that she was survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters - all local; 4 brothers - one in Illinois; 3 sisters including a nun Sister Mary Robert at Holy Family Convent in Manitowoc (two others who predeceased her were members of the same religious order), Mrs Anna Klingeisen/Manitowoc, Mrs Daniel Geiger/Brillion; 45 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Rev Henry Arens officiated at her funeral service as he had for her husband's just three months prior. Their wedding was on 24 November 1902 at St Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw.
