Mr. Bola, 89, of 41 Forest Street, was a resident of Lake Placid for the last 65 years and worked as a building contractor. He died January 20, 1976 in Placid Memorial Hospital in Lake Placid.
He was born in Piopolis, Megantic-Compton, Quebec, Canada, on March 18, 1886, and christened Georges Zenophile Beaulé, the son of Ludger and Odile Goupille Beaulé (Bola). His wife, the former Nellie MacMillan died in Lake Placid on May 12, 1964.
Mr. Bola was a member of the Lake Placid Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Bola was survived by three sons, George A. of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Bernard J. of Saranac Lake, New York, and Leo E. of Lake Placid; two daughters, Mrs. William (Mary) Toner of Huntington, Long Island, and Mrs. Dante (Barbara) Fragassi of Rochester, New York; one brother, Edward of Lake Placid; 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
