Ruth H. Ainsworth, 84, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at StoneRidge Retirement.
She was born on Wednesday, August 21, 1929 to the late William Althouse and Edna Althouse nee Hoover in Avon. She was an active member of Avon Zion United Methodist Church. Ruth worked at R&M Dress Factory, Public Shirt Co., and managed a grocery store with her husband. She was a member of the Senior Center, volunteered at Avon Fire Company and helped with free meals. Ruth enjoyed baking.
Surviving are husband of 66 years, Clifford E. Ainsworth Sr., Lebanon; daughters Doris spouse of Earl McAllister, Lebanon, Teresa Kleinfelter, Berks Co.; son Cliff Jr., spouse of Debbie Ainsworth, Hershey; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Florence Vituszynski, Grace Daub, Marie Graham.
Viewing will be on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Avon Zion United Methodist Church, 1205 E. Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
