Norfolk-Funeral services for Dorothy B Arquette, 92, a resident of the Highland Nursing Home, Massena and formerly of Norfolk at the Knapp Station Community Chrch with Rev. Lee Sweeney officiating. Burial at the West Stockholm Cemetery. Mrs. Arquette died Nov 13, 2016 at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 73 year, Gordon, Massena; two sons, Johnnie and Laura Arquette, FL; Denis and Kathy Arquette, CO; 2 daughters, Polly Searles, Raymondville and Judy and Michael Brassard, Potsdam; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchldren; several step grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by brothers, Gaylord, Allan, Darrell, Roy and William Baxter and sisters, Doris Brothers, Irene Smith and Ruth Roach.
Born on May 3, 1924 to Adelbert and Leora Nichols Baxter, she married Gordon J Arquette on Nov 14, 1942 at the Brookdale Parsonage with Rev. Reginald Hewitt preiding. She started working career at Alcoa in Massena; then Potsdam SUNY and at same time farming at home. She was a member of the Norfolk Wesleyan Church. Arrangements with the Buck Funeral Home.
