Illness Fatal To Mrs. Adkins

Mrs. Mary Magdalene Adkins, 74, died at 7:30 a. m. at her home, 1503 Summers street, after an illness of five years.

She is survived by the following children: John Henry Adkins, Mrs. Mabel Nabors, Betha Adkins, Dock Adkins, Willie Adkins, and Benwood Adkins.

A sister, Vina Teal of Beckley, and two half-sisters, Victoria Stover and Cora Heights of Beckley also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p. m. at the Brown cemetery by the Rev. H. P. Hackney.

Arrangements are in charge of the E. M. Meadows Funeral Home.

Adkins Services 2 P. M. Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Magdalene Adkins, 74, who died Saturday morning, will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m.

The Rev. H. P. Hackney will conduct the rites at the Brown cemetery.

Pallbearers named were Cleve Merritt, Frank Nabors, Luther C. Adkins, Dan Bailey, Russell B. Adkins, Deno Williams, Morgan Gill, Pearl Harrah, Willis Fox and Deanie Fox.

In addition to survivors named earlier, Mrs. Adkins is survived by three three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The E. M. Meadows funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
