STOUGHTON -- Mrs. Roy (Helen) Bechtold, age 69, of 2279 Williams Point Drive died on Wednesday, April 15, 1981, at Stoughton. Born in Quincy, Illinois on February 29, 1912, she was the former Helen R. Faber. She was married to Roy Bechtold on November 17, 1934. They moved to Stoughton from Dixon, Illinois, seventeen years ago. She had been employed as a nurse's aid at the Nazareth Home in Stoughton. She was a member of Covenant Lutheran church......Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. William (Bonnie) Donovan of Rockford, Illinois and Mrs. Leon (Jan) Vaage of Stoughton; a son, Ronald of Madison; a sister, Leona Faber of Quincy, Illinois; and five grandchildren.......Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 11 a.m. at COVENANT LUTHERAN CHURCH with the Reverend Ralph Baumbach officiating. Burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dane County Hospice Fund.
