Mrs. William J. Michel, 84, who resided with her son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. William G. Michel, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Wednesday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Kristaps Caune will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Michel, nee Alvena T. Larson, was born May 28, 1888, at Manitowoc
Rapids, daughter of the late Osman and Mary Jenson Larson. She was married
to William J. Michel April 22, 1911, at Gjerpen. The couple farmed in the
Town of Manitowoc Rapids prior to moving to Manitowoc. Her husband preceded
her in death April 28, 1962. She was a member of the School Section
Homemakers of Mishicot.
Survivors include a son, William G., of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; a daughter, Mrs.
Jake (Lillian) Nadel, of Maribel; two brothers, Hiram, of Manitowoc and
Louis, of Rockwood; a sister, Mrs. George Denk, of Manitowoc; and four grand-
children. A son, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday until the time of
service Saturday.
