Monte M. Austin, 79, of Newnan passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015, in Atlanta, GA.
He was born December 8, 1935, in Fond du Lac, WI, to the late Harley and Edith Austin.
Mr. Austin retired from the U.S. Navy and was owner/operator of Mobile Lift and Repairman.
The memorial service is Friday, March 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, with Pastor Greg Morris officiating. Rather than flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to First Christian Church of Newnan, 8 Elm St., Newnan, GA 30263.
