Frank B. Nimmo was born August 26, 1929 in Grand Tower to Roy Nimmo and Emma (Ellet) [Nimmo] Bridgeman. His siblings include Peggy Qualls of Grand Tower, Middy Burns of Oakland City, Indiana, Phyllis Bridgeman of Crown Point, Indiana, and Edward LaVern Nimmo of Ava. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He married Irene Hartline on September 30, 1950 in Murphysboro. She survives. His children include Mike Nimmo and Kenneth Nimmo, both of Grand Tower; Scott Nimmo of Clinton; Peggy Camp of Grand Tower; and Patti Curle of Waterloo.

Mr. Nimmo was a gold card member of the OPCMIA Local 542, Murphysboro. He was a concrete supervisor for Fru-Con Construction Co. of St. Louis, Missouri. He retired in 1986 to his home in Grand Tower. He was well known as a musician and country singer.

Mr. Nimmo died at the age of 63 on Saturday, June 12, 1993 in St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
