Prior to entering service November 23, 1942, Lt. Nimmo was employed on the U. S. Dredge Grafton.He leaves a son, James Eugene Nimmo.
The remains of Lt. Nimmo, killed in action on February 6, 1945 in Germany, will be returned to Grand Tower for burial Sunday. He had been overseas since September 6, 1944.
