OBIT - William Marshall Acuff, 64, of Lee's Summit, Mo, formerly of North of Granville, died unexpectedly at his home Thursday, November 28.
Mr. Acuff was the son of Claiborne and Nancy Halleburton Acuff, born in the Maud vicinity, north of Granville, one of eight children. He had lived in the Lee's Summit area for about 40 years. For several years he was service manager of the Acuff Chevrolet dealership in Lee's Summit and Harrisonville, but presently employed at the Burrows Brothers Service Station. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shrine and Scottish Rite.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alice J. Acuff; a brother, Raymond Acuff of Monroe County, on the Acuff home place; a sister, Mrs. Gentry Crawford of Shelbina; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
