MRS. JESSIE ATTERBERRY.
Shelbina, Mo., Sept. 25.—Mrs. Jessie Mildred Atterberry, 53, died early Friday morning at her home, following several weeks' illness.
Mrs. Atterberry was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claiborn Acuff. She was born May 18, 1885 in Monroe county, southwest of Maud where she continued to live until her marriage May 18, 1904, to I. Glen Atterberry. In 1915 the couple moved to Kansas City where her husband studied for the Baptist ministry. Later they lived in Rothville and Clifton Hill, moving in 1924 to Shelbina where they had since made their home. Mrs. Atterberry was a member and active worker in the Baptist church, Sunday school and women's auxiliary.
Surviving relatives are her husband; her mother; two sons, Joseph of Shelbina and Claiborn of Kirksville; a daughter, Miss Mildred Atterberry of Moberly; five brothers, Davis of Clarence, Herbert of Harrisonville, Russell and Marshall of Lees Summit and Raymond of Maud and a sister, Mrs. Gentry Crawford, of Shelbina.
Funeral services were held in the Baptist church in Shelbina at 10 o clock Saturday morning, and burial was in Shelbina cemetery.
