Ann's brother James KEEGAN was a well-loved schoolteacher in Trescott, Maine with a large family of his own.
In the Letters of James YOUNG this brother of Ann's is also mentioned. This James Keegan came over from Ireland quite early, that is in the 1830's, and well before the potato famine. He was in West Lubec, Maine for a while and had a son, James KEEGAN, Jr.
