Parents: Lithuanian immigrants Nikodemas & Theodora (Barvydaite) Kulikauskas, who are interred in Riverside Cemetery in Albion, Michigan under the names of Mike & Theodora Kulikowski. The family moved from Cicero to Albion, Michigan in September, 1918. Theodora "Teddy" as she was known, was named after her mother. Spouse: Francis Gordon Schascheck. Teddy graduated from Albion High School in 1935 under the name of Theodora Martin-Smith, the latter being the last names of the ladies who raised Teddy from a young age, but did not adopt her. Teddy graduated from nurse's school at Bronson Methodist Hospital in October, 1938.
