Kenneth and Lenna both worked at Olin Corporation in East Alton, Illinois. He began work there in 1930 and was a ballistics foreman in the cartridge works by 1940. Lenna was an inspector in the cartridge works by the start of World War II.
Lenna passed away in 1958 at the age of 46.
After her death, Kenneth married Irene Stahl. He continued working at Olin until his retirement in 1967. He was employed there for 37 years.
Irene died in 1972.
Kenneth was in failing health for several years. He died at St. Joseph Hospital at the age of 70 years, 1 month and 30 days.
He was surved by 1 daughter, Donna McKinney; 2 sons, "Wayne" and Bruce Cook; 8 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Cornelia Floss of Godfrey, Illinois.
Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. on 03 Apr 1979 at Gent Funeral Home. The Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 25 A.F. & A.M. services took place at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. the following morning.
