Darlington- Funeral services for Silas buss, 88, lifelong resident of Lafayette County who died Tuesday in his home here after a month's illness, will be held Thursday at 2 pm in the Nelson Sharer funeral home. The Rev. E.J. Jefrey will officiate, and burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Darlington.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl McConnell and Ann Buss, both of Darlington; three sons, Edward, LeMars, Ia., William, Mineral Point, and Alvin, Dubuque, Ia.; two brothers, Prince, Darlington, and William, Harlan, Ia.; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
