Bismarck Soldier Killed in Crash
Cpl Reuben F Welk, 19, Bismarck, was killed in an Army Bomber crash last Friday night on Mount Gleason, North of Glendale Calif.

10 bodies were found Sunday in the burned and scattered wreckage of the B-24 Liberator. Military authorities said the ship was on a training flight from the Muroc air field.

He is the son of Mr and Mrs Fred Welk of Hazen, born in Zap he lived there with his family until the recent move to Hazen He entered the service about a year ago.
