Services were Friday, Oct. 3, 2003 at Zion Lutheran Church, Beulah, with Rev. Kris Nymann officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Rose was born on Aug. 9, 1904, at Lehr to John and Rosina (Becker) Flemmer. Later the family moved to a farm south of Beulah, where Rose attended country school.
On Jan. 7, 1923, she married Fred Welk. To this union, three sons and a daughter were born. Fred died on April 22, 1967.
She is survived by one son, Ervin Welk, Reno Nev.; one daughter, Eldora Morlock, Beulah; one sister, Tillie Boehler, Hazen; three grandsons; three granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, David and Reuben; four brothers, and three sisters, one grandson, Gerald Welk.
Arrangements conducted by Seibel Funeral Homes Beulah and Hazen.
