Evalena VanOsdol Trester was born in Switzerland County IN., on Dec 19, 1877 and died at her home at Moores Hill, IN., Jan 24, 1922, aged forty-four years one month and five days. She was married to Jesse Trester Dec 24, 1899. Four children were born to this union, three sons and one daughter, one son dying in infancy. Her mother, Mrs. Mary Corbin, preceded her to the spirit world six weeks ago. The husband, two sons, Charles and Martin, and daughter, Rachel Jane, are left to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and loving mother. Also she leaves six brothers, two sisters, a stepfather and a host of other relatives and friends. Although not a member of any church Mrs. Trester's sympathy was manifested in different ways toward the work of the Lord.
