SISTER MARY EUDOCIA MUDD, 93, an Ursuline Sister of the Mount Saint Joseph Community, died Sept. 12, 1997, at Mount St. Joseph. She was in the 75th year of her religious life. She was born in Lebanon and entered the Mount Saint Joseph Ursuline Community on March 20, 1922. She taught/ministered at St. Peter of Alcantara School, Stanley; St. Romuald School, Hardinsburg; St. Denis School, Fancy Farm; St. Paul School, Leitchfield; St. Columba School, Louisville; St. Paul School, Louisville; St. Edward School, Jeffersontown; St. Ann School, Howardstown; St. Francis Xavier, Raywick; St. Anthony School, Peonia; and St. Joseph School, San Fidel, N.M. She retired at Mount Saint Joseph Motherhouse in 1977. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Services were at 2 p.m., Sept. 16, at Mount Saint Joseph Chapel, Maple Mount, with burial in Convent Cemetery, Maple Mount. Wake services were at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15, at the Convent Chapel. Glenn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
