Sister Mary Oda Mudd, 83, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph Community, died, Sept. 4, 1992, at Mount Saint Joseph, Maple Mount.

Sr. Mudd was in the 65th year of her religious life. She was born in Loretto and entered Mount Saint Joseph Ursuline Community March 19, 1928. She taught in Calvary, Raywick, Chicago, Fancy Farm, New Haven, Waverly, St. Raphael, Fredericktown, Flaherty, London {Lyndon?], Mother of Good Council in Louisville, Lebanon, and Pittsmouth, Neb. and retired to the Motherhouse in 1980.

Survivors include three sisters, Sister Eudocia Mudd of Mount Saint Joseph, Maple Mount, and Carrie Lang and Cyril Mudd, both of Lebanon.

Funeral services were held Sept. 7, 1992 at Mount Saint Joseph Chapel, Maple Mount with burial in the Convent Cemetery at Maple Mount.

A wake service was held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6, at Mount Saint Joseph Chapel.

Glenn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
