Golden, MS~~~~Gladdis Elizabeth Ivy Wigginton, 90, life expired Thursday March 07, 2013 at the Southern Magnolia Estates in Golden, MS. She was born on Sunday, February 11, 1923, in Tishomingo, Co., to Rev. C. L. (Cleve) and Ella Flora Newell Ivy. She was a member of Old Bethel Unied Methodist Church for 75 years, employee of Blue Bell, Inc, and taught at Belmont headstart. She enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family and spending time with her great-grandchildren. Married Dallas Wigginton on Aug. 09, 1941, completing 70 years of marriage at the time of his death.

Survivors include; one daughter, Peggy Elizabeth Montgomery, of Golden; two grandchildren, Mike Montgomery (Tammy) and Mitizi Elizabeth Ramsey (Vance) both of Golden; five great-grandchildren. Kaylee and Abby Montgomery, Austin Cole, Carlee Elizabeth and Tyler Ramsey, all of Golden; one sister, Rada Ivy Malone (Preston) of Belmont and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Franks Ivy, of Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas, her only son, Bill Wigginton and a son-in-law, James A. Montgomery: her parents; six brothers, Grover, Austin, Houston, Otha,
Troy (infant) and Roy Ivy; six sisters; Ruth Ivy, Bernice Sparks, Mary McAnally, Evelyn (infant) Lorene Johnson, and Mildred Sartin.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. morning March 09th. at Old Bethel Methodist Church, with Bro. Earle McAnally, Bro. Bobby Hankins and Mike Deaton officiating.. Burial in Church Cemetery.
Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge of the arrangements.
