Grace "Nanny" Case, 83, passed away Monday morning at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Indianapolis, the daughter of Louis and Margaret (Richards) Glasson and attended Muncie Central High School.

Mrs. Case was employed at Ball Brothers then at Montgomery Ward for over 20 years. Nanny enjoyed the Lifetime Move Network and doing word searches.

Surviving are her daughter, Peggy Wright (David); three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria Robinson (Graham) and Betty Gunkle; a brother, Darrell Glasson (Anna); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wallace "Red" Case; a daughter, Lynda Cloyd; a granddaughter, Tammy Batt; three brothers, Buddy, Bobby, and Sonny Glasson; and three sisters, Audrey Smith, Joyce Marley, and Inez Verrier.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie. Friends may call at the mortuary from 11 a.m. on Friday until time of service. Memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana (Little Red Door), Muncie, IN.
