Miss Faye Maphis, aged 17, died Tuesday afternoon in Potomac Valley Hospital, where she had been a patient for three weeks. She underwent an operation for mastoid and complications developed.
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Maphis of Junction, W. Va., one sister and six brothers survive.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Ebenezer Church with burial in Ebenezer graveyard.
