Ervin J. Junk, age 65, of 2105 S. Tenth St., Manitowoc, died Monday evening, May 4, 1998, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 1998, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M., with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born December 5, 1932, in the town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, son of the late Henry and Wanda Stefaniak Junk. Ervin was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1950. On September 26, 1953, he married the former Annette Van Patten at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Junk was the owner of Badger Auto Supply until his retirement. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Annette B. Junk, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Eileen Junk, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Steven Krupka, Manitowoc, Vicki and Steve Meyer, Greenleaf; eight grandchildren, Jason and Casey Junk, Tamara and Kyle Krupka, Nicole, Brent, Heather and Brandon Meyer, his mother-in-law, Silveria Van Patten, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Valarian and Mayme Junk, Taus, Kenneth and Jenny Junk, Manitowoc; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Geraldine Behnke, Dorothy and Frank Dondlinger, Audrey Burkart, all of Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law, Ronald Van Patten and his wife, Dorothy, Menominee Falls, Lee Van Patten, Topeka, Calif.; and one sister-in-law, Marie Schroeder and her husband, R. Leigh, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Junk and his father-in-law, Everett Van Patten.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday (TONIGHT), where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., led by Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M.
