Henry G. Junk, 73, of 1114 Lake St., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Francis Creek.
Mr. Junk was born April 21, 1894, in the Town of Cleveland, son of the late Henry and Mathilda Bette Junk. He married Wanda Stefanik April 24, 1917, at Northeim. They engaged in farming and Mr. Junk was a cheesemaker for many years. They moved to Manitowoc in 1941 where Mr. Junk was employed at the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry until his retirement in 1960.
His wife survives along with three sons, Valarian of Rt. 2, Cato, and Ervin and Kenneth of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Ferdinand (Geraldine) Behnke, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Dondlinger and Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Burkart of Manitowoc; a brother, Joseph, of Whitelaw; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Vandloo of Sheboygan and Mrs. Herman Erdman of Milwaukee; 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A son preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening.
