THOMAS W. TIMBROOK DIED AT SON'S HOME
Thomas Wesley Timbrook, a native of Hampshire county passed away at the home of his son, Ira Timbrook, at Slanesville, where he had made his home, Saturday. Mr. Timbrook was born October 2, 1870, and died April 2, 1949, aged 78 years and 6 months.
The survivors are twelve children: Charles L. Timbrook, Mrs. Edith Shears, Mrs. Ida Howdyshell and Mrs. Sally Michael, all of Keyser; George R. Timbrook, Hagerstown, Md.; Arthur Timbrook, Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Stanley, Mrs. Pansy Wood and Mrs. Gladys Shackleford, all of Akron, Ohio; Raymond Timbrook, Wheeling; Roy Timbrook, Romney, and Ira Timbrook, Slanesville.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Ebenezer Church by Rev. Allen Jones and Rev. D. Fay Zinn. Interment was in Mill Run cemetery. The hymns, "Rock of Ages", "Shall We Gather at the River" and "Going Down the Valley", were used at the service.
The pall bearers were Jesse Saville, K. Voit, James Brennan, Harry Timbrook, Floyd Timbrook, John R. Arnold, Jr., and Ira Arnold.
