Mrs. Stanley was born in Romney, W. Va., and retired in 1971 with 34 years service from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. She was a member of the Arlington Memorial Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Edward, in 1969, she was the beloved mand grandmother of daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Charles Hagey of Akron, granddaughters, Susan Taylor and her husband, James, Karen Hagey; great-grandchildren, James, Chris and Michelle; brother, Ira Timbrook of West Virginia; sister, Gladys Shackelford of Akron; longtime friend, Ada Ramsey.
Pastor Donald Davies will conduct services at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, at the Adams Funeral Home, where friends may call Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to service on Friday.
Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Arlington Memorial Baptist Church, 2330 E. Market St., Akron44312.(Adams, 535-9186.)
