January 9, 1974 ROY S. TIMBROOK
ROMNEY -- Roy Sampson Timbrook, 57, of 56 South Charlevoix Place, was dead on arrival Friday at Hampshire Memorial Hospital.
A native of Hampshire County, he was a son of the late Thomas Wesley and Cora B. (Ganoe) Timbrook.
He was an employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways and was a member of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mary Frances (Clower) Timbrook; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Heare, Fort Knox, Ky.; Mrs. Judy Southerly and Mrs. Josphine Shockey, here; a son, Kenneth W. Timbrook, Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Stanley, Mrs. Pansy Fast and Mrs. Gladys Shackleford, all of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Ira Timbrook, Shanks, and Raymond Timbrook, Wheeling; two half brothers, Arthur Timbrook, Youngstown, Ohio, and Charles Timbrook, Keyser, and 13 grandchildren.
A service was conducted at the Shaffer Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Donald Swope officiated and burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
