LIBERTY, Aug. - John T. Kivett, 79, retired farmer and roller mill operator, died this morning at his home on Route 1, Liberty after a long illness. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hinshaw Kivett; two daughters, Mrs. K. M. Meyerhoesser of High Point and Mrs. W. C. Glassglow of Route 6, Burlington; three sons, R. W. Kivett of Route 6, Greensboro, Sherrill Kivett of Route 1, Liberty, and Keith Kivett of Route 3, Liberty; three brothers, Ed Kivett, of Route 8, Greensboro, J. T. and A. M. Kivett of Route 1, Staley; one sister, Mrs. Dora Ale of Los Angeles, Calif.; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at Shiloh Methodist Church Sunday at 4 p. m. with burial in the church cemetery.
